Although mountain biking is our central activity, BIKE-ROX will offer guests a variety of outdoor activities including:
  - guided mountain walking,
  - mini-bus trips to places of historic interest, natural beauty and ..
  - other activities available in the locality including horse riding and 4 x 4 quad bikes. BIKE-ROX is committed to satisfy the requirements of its guests, the mountains are at their disposal irrespective of the chosen activity.   >>
   Between the snow-free months of June and August the spectacular Trans-Fagarasan road weaves an incredible serpentine route up through impressively rugged and rocky terrain passing by Balea Lac, through the 500 metre long tunnel under the 2,400 metre high peak to wind its way down through equally dramatic mountain scenery to Vidraru, a most beautiful forest lined reservoir which powers the hydro-electric turbines at the impressive 400 metre high barrage.   <<  >>

The dramatic rock faces rising to a level 2,000 metres above the town of Busteni, offer a spectacular cable-car ride to the plateau of Babele where BIKE-ROX guests can ride cross-country along the ridge overlooking the Prahova Valley to Sinaia cota 2,000 metres and descend the technical and scenic front face of the mountain to cota 1,400 metres to enjoy welcome refreshments.

From cota 1,400 metres the lower forested reaches offer track and beautiful off-road forest trails down to Poiana Tapului or the small town of Sinaia and the waiting cable car……… ready to take you back up to experience it all over again!

Alternatively, from Babele the “Dichiu” forest road will take you on a wonderful descent through Valea Dorului allowing you to experience a beautifully scenic rocky track at your own pace, for the experienced some serious downhill speed-riding and for the novice a steady and interesting road……… ideal to improve your riding skills.
